SysStab2030

SysStab 2030 is a major research project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, focusing on system stability through market-based ancillary services and technical minimum requirements for future electrical installations. The Chair of Power Electronics and Electrical Drives is one of a dozen partners involved in this initiative. The Chair's specific tasks include the modeling of grid-following and grid-forming installations for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission, the aggregated modeling of wind farms, and the exploration of dynamic test grids.
